It's our weekly roundup of interesting sales and prices!
It was a relatively quiet week on eBay. My vintage pick of the week was this cool appaloosa yearling with four socks! I've seen them with front socks (and in fact I sold my front sock variation last year for $150) but not with four before. It ended lower than I expected, but there were some condition issues. Still - very cool to see.

Since we were talking the other day about secret glowies - it was cool to see this glowing Merle listed. The same seller also had a glowing Bravour 54 listed which did not sell. I am going to have to be on the lookout for those two myself. I didn't even pick up my Bravour 54 models at Breyerfest 2023 because space was an issue but I guess I should have! t's interesting that two years in a row the celebration models have had glowing variations.

It certainly looks like the glowie variation adds value - so I guess check your recent releases if you're going to list them for sale! Particularly if some people have found glowing ones on that run or similar molds. I need to get to work on publishing my known glowie list.
This stunning Mosaic sold this week. He commands a high price not only because Mosaic the first Connoisseur model and arguably one of the nicest of the entire series, but so many of them have developed seam splits over the years. This one showed no signs of splitting and the listing mentioned there were no repairs. Quite a show stopping piece and it also had the COA which many people want with their Conns (although in the case of a mint Mosaic that probably makes less of a difference).

One of my new favorite features is the "Research" option on eBay, so I don't necessarily have to keep storing all this stuff myself, although a lot of things you wouldn't be able to find on here like unique variations. But the best part is you can now see if a "Best Offer" was accepted what the amount was. Down below you can see the Araba variation history and this one that sold this week in the middle at 1,085.

This woodgrain longhorn was also of interest - he is a lovely example and they are on the harder to find side for sure. He went for $450.

In more Connoisseur news this Inconspicuous also sold this week - he probably is my favorite of the entire series, definitely top five, although I am definitely biased to the Show Jumping Warmblood. He went for $1,190. We are seeing quite a few Conns valued at over $1000 these days.

Over on Rare Model Horse Sales on Facebook a solid black running foal from the Fun Foals treasure hunt sold for $575. That's one that rarely comes up for sale and people often wonder about value on those last minute solid black fun foals, so I wrote that one down for posterity.
Over in Stone Horses land, a new series was launched called Gemstones which features OOAK artist pieces that are sold at a fixed price on the website at a designated time. This month featured a variety of unique ponies by Kristen Cermele - across both the traditional Stone pony and the chips pony. It was a resounding success and they sold out in minutes. Be sure to sign up for those text alerts if you want to participate in these sales - everything goes quickly! This is a great option for those with fast fingers who want to avoid the stress or bidding wars of the best offers auctions on Model Horse Place. The models that will be available are typically previewed beforehand on the Stone facebook page and Instagram so you can go straight to your favorite when the are released. So you have an idea, from what I saw the prices ranged from $500-$1200ish - My favorite was $950 (I did not get it) - I was a little overwhelmed and didn't take good enough notes but next round my journalism will be better, assuming I'm not in a mad scramble to buy one myself.
